DSEF Director

President
FORMCOR

Around the office, we might call Darren “the big cheese”, but our customers call him dependable, dedicated, and their go-to print guy for his ability to pull off challenging projects with unimaginable deadlines and budgets.

With more than 25 years experience in print management, Darren became the sole owner of Formcor in 2011, following the retirement of two previous partners.

In this senior leadership role, Darren connects businesses across Canada with print suppliers and promotional product manufacturers to create unique solutions for marketing programs and campaigns. He enjoys collaborating with clients in marketing and creative roles to develop innovative projects and, in turn, generate new ideas for Formcor’s business growth.

An active community supporter, and a 25-year volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel, Darren also brings his enthusiasm for mentoring to the office. He empowers each member of the amazing Formcor team to play a part in the company’s success, encouraging them to contribute ideas and “steer the ship”.

In 2015, Formcor was honoured by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel in becoming the “Business Partner of the Year” for 2014.

Darren’s innovative thinking, reputation for results, and commitment to providing the best client service have earned him several awards, including the Direct Seller’s Association of Canada (DSA) Partner in Progress Award (2002) and the DSA Distinguished Service Award (2010). Darren was also one of only 60,000 Canadians to receive the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal (2012), in recognition of his outstanding leadership and contribution in the direct selling industry.

When he’s not motivating his team, making sure a project’s on press, or keeping Formcor’s customers up to date, Darren can usually be found on the golf course, vacationing with his family, or hanging out at the arena cheering on his two sons.
