Distinguished Service Award

The Distinguished Service Award recognizes people for their participation and leadership on the association's committees and/or Board of Directors.

2025 Recipient

Darla Brown, Global Sales Executive at Strategic Incentive Solutions and CEO and Founder at The Winners Formula - Darla has taken on many roles with DSA Canada and many more across the direct selling industry. They have always been willing to assist in our activities, not as a way to build their business but because they believe in what we do. Although doing these things does also help to build great business relationships.
Rarely does a week go by that one of us at the DSA Canada office is not working with this person on one initiative or another. And they have had tangible positive results in growing direct selling on both sides of the very real border between Canada and our good friends in the US.

Dave Siembieda, CEO at Bloo Kanoo and COO at GOBI Insights - Dave does a lot in the background and rarely looks for kudos or recognition. In fact, I sometimes suspect they would be happy to disappear into the woods somewhere and never be seen again. Which is why giving out awards like this are such fun. This is someone who has been so supportive and encouraging of me, and seems to doubt me less than I sometimes doubt myself. For that I am eternally grateful. This is also someone who is involved in so many direct selling and other enterprises that it is sometimes hard to keep up.  But, needless to say, they have made a difference for many of us and I know they believe to their core in the value of the direct selling industry.
