2024 Wrapped: DSA Canada Year-In-Review
2024 was an impactful year for DSA Canada and our reputation. Maybe not as impactful as Taylor Swift’s Era’s Tour, which recently finished in Vancouver, but we still have lots to be proud of.
We didn’t play to as many people as Taylor, but many important people did take notice of what we had to say. Let’s celebrate all the good times, and twists and turns of 2024, and look forward to an amazing 2025.
Now, in the interests of piggybacking on someone else’s fame and taking an already weak premise too far, here is a Tay Tay-influenced 2024 Wrapped for DSA Canada!
- Blank Space – We had a blank space, baby, so we filled it with an amazing new logo, great branding elements and a sweet website.
- Cruel Summer – Not us. We had an amazing June Annual Conference in rocking Niagara-on-the-Lake. Taylor never performed in a venue so beautiful, to such a fun group of people.
- Long Story Short – 70 years of DSA Canada, now there is a long story to celebrate. We partied hard and still have more chapters of this story to write.
- Today Was a Fairytale – Direct Sellers Day in September celebrated the fantastic ISCs who drive this industry, and we recognized our love for them with a fantastic Awards event.
- Bigger Than the Whole Sky – We continue to have an oversized impact in Canada’s corridors of power. Whether focused on health products, licensing, entrepreneurship or tax, your voice is heard by everyone in government.
- I Knew You Were Trouble – In the best possible way, our 2024 DSEF Scholarship winners are going to cause trouble, by creating change and transforming lives. Thank you to all member companies that proudly promoted this initiative.
- The Story of Us – Tanisha Dunkley joined the DSA Canada team and put her stamp on our communications. In 2024, we were heard on podcasts, in magazines, on social media, and in plenty of other places. Plus, Tara Wallbridge continues to facilitate amazing seminars, webinars, roundtables, and other exceptional networking opportunities.
- You Belong With Me – Welcome to our new DSA Canada Board members in 2024: Victoria Beaune (Plexus), Nicole Keely (Avon) and Cindy Tokoly (Pampered Chef). We were also lucky enough to introduce a new Boad Chair, Marcia Cota (MONAT), and DSEF Board Chair, Jessie Arsenault (MONAT).
In 2025, we look forward to continued success in advocating for the industry and growing our membership strength. Plus, we may find some other cheesy theme for our annual review.
Thanks again to all our members, suppliers, Board directors and volunteers for their commitment to DSA Canada. Let’s Shake It Off and be Fearless!
