Students beginning studies in the Computer Security and Investigations Advanced Diploma program since Fall 2024 will receive the following 7.0 transfer credits: 

  • 0.5 COIS 2750H – Computer Crime and Forensics 
  • 0.5 COIS 3400H – Database Management Systems
  • 0.5 COIS 4370H – Computer and Information Security
  • 0.5 unassigned Computer Science credit at the 1000 level
  • 1.0 unassigned Computer Science credit at the 2000 level
  • 1.5 unassigned Arts credits at the 1000 level
  • 1.5 unassigned Arts credits at the 2000 level
  • 1.0 unassigned Science credit at the 1000 level

Students who began studies in the Computer Security and Investigations Advanced Diploma program prior to Fall 2024 will be awarded on a course-by-course basis. 

Exigences

To qualify for this agreement, students must have:

  • Successfully completed Fleming College’s Computer Security and Investigations Advanced Diploma;
  • A minimum overall average of 75%

Students pursuing majors for which introductory credits are not provided through the transfer credit block may be encouraged to complete courses in the term prior to entering Trent full-time. Consultation with an academic advisor is strongly encouraged. (http://trentu.ca/advising).
