• 0.5 PHYS 1001H - Introductory Physics I

• 1.0 unassigned Mathematics credit at the 2000 level

To qualify for this agreement, students must have:

• Successfully completed the equivalent of 10.0 Trent credits of coursework;
• A minimum overall average of 70%;
• A minimum grade of 60% in each course.

Students must complete the following 10.0 credits to fulfill requirements for the Mathematics degree program:

• 0.5 MATH 2200H - Mathematical Reasoning
• 0.5 MATH 4800H - Mathematics Honours Project
• 2.0 Mathematics credits from the following paired credits:
  • 0.5 MATH 3150H - Partial Differential Equations and 0.5 MATH 4120H - Mathematical Modelling or
  • 0.5 MATH 3150H - Partial Differential Equations and 0.5 MATH 4230H - Mathematical Biology (only one of the first two pairs may be counted);
  • 0.5 MATH 3310H - Algebra III: Abstract Algebra and 0.5 MATH 4360H - Algebra IV: Rings and Fields;
  • 0.5 MATH 3560H - Statistics II: Linear Models and 0.5 MATH 4561H - Statistics V: Sampling and Experimental Design;
  • 0.5 MATH 3790H - Analysis I: Real Analysis and 0.5 MATH 4790H - Analysis II: Topology and Measure
  • 0.5 MATH 3630H - Discrete II: Graph Theory and 0.5 MATH 4630H - Discrete III: Combinatorics
• 2.5 additional Mathematics credits at the 3000 level or beyond
• 4.5 elective credits, including:
  • At least 1.0 credit at the 3000 and/or 4000 level;
  • No more than 2.0 credits at the 1000 level;
  • At least 0.5 credit from the Approved Indigenous Course List.

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
