Helping learners find their way
The education-to-employment journey is rarely a straight line. Some learners develop different interests and explore otheropportunities; in other cases, external factors — like a global pandemic or financial downturn — intensify the pressure forlearners to pivot, upskill and retrain. Navigating new career directions may require additional education and credentials. Howcan Ontario’s postsecondary institutions empower learners with the confidence, skills and tools they will need to find their way— no matter which personal and professional goals they choose to pursue in the future?
Day One — Scanning the horizon
A vibrant program of panels, presentations and keynotes will highlight recent trends and insights related to learner mobility, as well as identify future opportunities to implement promising practices and scale innovative solutions.
Day Two — Charting the course
Through collaborative workshops and interactive labs, participants will engage directly with existing practices, tools and pathways and then create a blueprint for improving learner mobility at their own institution.
