Requirements

Graduates of the 2-year advanced diploma in Developmental Service Worker Diploma with an overall GPA of 65 per cent or more will be considered for admission to the Bachelor of Child and Youth Care degree program. Graduates may then complete the degree program with the equivalent of five semesters of full-time study plus one work term. Graduates must also possess ENG4U or a college COMM 200 / WRIT 100 or COMM 300/ WRIT 200 with a grade of 65 percent or more. Admission will be based on availability in the program.

The advanced standing outlined is a general guideline.  Diploma graduates may be required to take courses in lower semesters in order to meet the overall degree learning outcomes.
