Transfer pathways search

Pathway students will receive a block of credit that reflects credit for all majors within the Honours Bachelor of Commerce. Based on the major chosen, not all credits from this block will apply. 

For the Business Management major: 23 credits will apply to degree requirements.

For the Marketing major: 22 of 23 credits will apply to degree requirements.

For the Accounting major: 20 of 23 credits will apply to degree requirements.

For the Human Resources Management, or Supply Chain Management majors: 21 of 23 credits will apply to degree requirements.

Graduates of a three-year Business Administration advanced diploma program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 65% will be eligible to enter the fourth semester of Seneca’s Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in the winter, summer or fall term.

How to apply:

Domestic students will be required to submit an application via Ontario Colleges Application Service (OCAS) and select “degree completion” as their entry semester.  Official transcripts showing diploma completion and a final program GPA must be submitted.

International students will apply to the degree via Seneca’s International Student Web Application, and follow up with their Admissions Advisor regarding their pathway eligibility.  The student will need their Seneca application confirmation number when they reach out to their advisor.  Official transcripts showing diploma completion and a final program GPA must be submitted.

Program Residency Requirement

For the Business Management major: 24 courses plus one work-integrated learning term must be completed at Seneca.

For the Marketing major: 25 courses plus one work-integrated learning term must be completed at Seneca.

For the Accounting major: 27 courses plus one work-integrated learning term must be completed at Seneca.

For the Human Resources Management, or Supply Chain Management majors: 26 courses plus one work-integrated learning term must be completed at Seneca.

All Seneca pathways will have a review date of three years from the date of implementation. Pathways may have a shorter review date if substantive curriculum changes are made to either the sending or receiving program. Students enrolled in the receiving institution at the time of any change or notice of termination will be given the opportunity to complete their studies based on the terms of the transfer pathway in effect at the time of their enrollment.
