Students who entered the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees Certificate in Fall 2024 or later will receive the following 3.5 transfer credits, provided they meet eligibility requirements:
- 0.5 CHEM 1000H - Introductory Chemistry I
- 0.5 CHEM 1010H - Introductory Chemistry II
- 0.5 MATH 1001H - Precalculus Mathematics
- 0.5 PHIL 1200H - Critical Thinking
- 0.5 unassigned Biology credit at the 1000 level
- 0.5 unassigned Arts credit at the 1000 level
- 0.5 unassigned Science credit at the 1000 level
Transfer credits for students who entered the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees Certificate prior to Fall 2024 will be assessed on a course-by-course basis.
Requirements
To qualify for this agreement, students must:
- Successfully complete the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees Certificate;
- Achieve a minimum overall average of 75%;
- Successfully complete prerequisites for the Trent University program of choice.
Transfer credits awarded through this pathway may not apply in full to all degree programs. Students are encouraged to consult an academic advisor regarding the applicability of transfer credits to their chosen program and for assistance with degree planning.
Applicants who do not meet the minimum average requirements, but who are otherwise admissible to Trent University, will be considered for admission based on general admission requirements.

Cancellation Policy
This Agreement will be reviewed annually, or more frequently if significant curriculum changes occur at either institution that may impact the pathway. Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing one year's written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the parties will make reasonable efforts to ensure that students currently enrolled in the pathway are able to complete their studies without disruption.
