Transfer pathways search

Students who began studies in the Biotechnology - Health Diploma since Fall 2024 will receive the following 6.5 credits:

• 0.5 BIOL 1030H - Foundations of Cellular and Molecular Biology
• 0.5 BIOL 1500H - Human Anatomy and Physiology 1
• 0.5 BIOL 3250H - Microbiology
• 0.5 CHEM 1000H - Introductory Chemistry 1
• 0.5 CHEM 2100H - Introductory Organic Chemistry 1
• 0.5 CHEM 2410H - Introductory Analytical Chemistry 1
• 0.5 MATH 1001H - Precalculus Mathematics
• 0.5 unassigned Biology credit at the 2000 level
• 1.0 unassigned Chemistry credit at the 2000 level
• 0.5 unassigned Arts credit at the 2000 level
• 1.0 unassigned Science credit at the 1000 level

Transfer credits for students who began studies in the Biotechnology - Health Diploma program prior to Fall 2024 will be assessed on a course-by-course basis.

To qualify for this pathway, students must:

• Successfully complete Georgian College's Biotechnology - Health Diploma program;
• A minimum overall average of 75%. 

Students interested in degree programs not included in this pathway are referred to the Trent University website for information about admission requirements. Applicants will be considered in accordance with Trent University's general admission requirements. Students who meet the terms of the pathway will be eligible to receive the block of credits, but all transfer credits received may not be apply in full to all degree programs. 

Applicants who do not meet the minimum average requirements, but who are otherwise admissible to Trent University, will be considered for admission based on general admission requirements.

This Agreement will be reviewed annually, or more frequently if significant curriculum changes occur at either institution that may impact the pathway. Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing one year's written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the parties will make reasonable efforts to ensure that students currently enrolled in the pathway are able to complete their studies without disruption.
