Program Transfer Search

Students beginning studies in the Paramedic Diploma program since Fall 2024 will receive the following 5.0 transfer credits: 

• 0.5 BIOL 1500H – Human Anatomy and Physiology 1
• 0.5 BIOL 1501H – Human Anatomy and Physiology 2 
• 0.5 PSYC 1020H – Introduction to Psychology I: Experimental and Biological Bases of Behaviour 
• 0.5 WRIT 2002H – Write It Up: Effective Communication 
• 2.0 unassigned Arts credits at the 1000 level
• 1.0 unassigned Science credit at the 1000 level

Transfer credits for students who began studies in the Paramedic Diploma program prior to Fall 2024 will be assessed on a course-by-course basis.

To qualify for this agreement, students must have: 

• Successfully completed Fleming College’s Paramedic Diploma; 
• A minimum overall average of 75%. NOTE: A higher average may be required, depending on the major chosen.

Bridging

Students pursuing majors for which introductory credits are not provided through the transfer credit block may be encouraged to complete courses in the term prior to entering Trent full-time. Consultation with an academic advisor is strongly encouraged. (http://trentu.ca/advising).

The transfer credit block for graduates of this program will be reviewed annually and adjusted, as necessary, to account for curriculum changes.
