Students who entered the Business - Accounting Diploma program prior to Fall 2025 are encouraged to contact Trent University for information about transfer credits received through this pathway.
 

To qualify for this pathway, students must:

• Successfully complete Sault College's Business - Accounting Diploma;
• A minimum overall average of 75%.

Students interested in degree programs not included in this pathway are referred to the Trent University website for information about admission requirements. Applicants will be considered in accordance with Trent University's general admission requirements. Students who meet the terms of the pathway will be eligible to receive the block of credits, but all transfer credits received may not be apply in full to all degree programs. 

Applicants who do not meet the minimum average requirements, but who are otherwise admissible to Trent University, will be considered for admission based on general admission requirements.

• Courses without specified year levels must include at least 1.0 credit at the 3000 and/or 4000 level, and no more than 1.0 credit at the 1000 level.
• Trent University offers an optional Specialization in Accounting. Students interested in pursuing the specialization must complete a specific cluster of courses. Students are referred to the School of Business or Academic Calendar (https://trentu.ca/calendar) for more information.

This Agreement will be reviewed annually, or more frequently if significant curriculum changes occur at either institution that may impact the pathway. Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing one year's written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the parties will make reasonable efforts to ensure that students currently enrolled in the pathway are able to complete their studies without disruption.
